Is Easter not what it used to be?

January 27, 2011

I used to think the same until I asked myself, what has changed?  The meaning of the holiday? Or the lack of marketing.

I realized if I don’t do something about it, how is it going to change? During the last recession in 2001 I tried marketing Easter. About 15 shops joined me. Today, 10 years later, the same shops have continued to market every Easter with over 3 dozen joining us.

People are ordering flowers, they just may not be ordering them locally because no one is marketing. Those incoming orders are no longer from credit card deals and national phone books, they are local customers calling national companies who market as YOU wait for the wire in order.

Today you can get your local business back using our Easter Postcard. Use it to:

* Insert in your local newspapers

* Mail to your customers

* Leave for local businesses like sandwich shops or pizza delivery to include with deliveries

Easter is an easy holiday to turn 2. With Mother’s day just around the corner, you should be able to turn one out of 3 orders into a Mother’s day sale.

Don’t wait! The meaning of Easter hasn’t changed. It’s up to us the keep flowers a part of the celebration. Click Here to view our Postcard.
